With any luck, you should now be able to print.Double-click the file that you downloaded ( md86-win-mx330-1_02-ej.exe), follow the prompts, and connect the printer when instructed to do so.

Go to Control Panel > Programs and Features, find and select "Canon MX330 Series MP Drivers" and click "Uninstall".Disconnect the printer from the computer.For the 32-bit version of Windows 7, you should download " md86-win-mx330-1_02-ej.exe" - click the "Download" button and save the file in a location that you will remember (e.g., your Desktop).

Make sure that the website has correctly identified your version of Windows and then click the "Select" button.and click the "Drivers and Downloads" button Given that this is essentially the process that seems to have caused your issue in the first place, I don't have a lot of hope that this will fix things, but this is what Canon recommends as a first step.

If troubleshooting a communication issue, reconnect the data cable (not applicable to WiFi, Bluetooth or Infrared).


I've never found the Windows "troubleshooters" to be particularly helpful.
